92 Chevy pickup to 86 TPI

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89

It isn't that big a deal. The only thing that won't exactly fit from the TPI system is the TPI base, which will need the center two mount bolt holes on each side elongated (or get an '87-'89 non-Vette base). Otherwise, it's unbolt and bolt back on/in.
You should probably consider 350 knock sensor & module, and 22 lb injectors. Otherwise, that's all of the "special considerations" of the engine replacement.

Which vehicle is getting what engine?
I assumed the '86 TPI car was getting a '92 Chevy pickup engine. If that's not the case, you're going the wrong way for this conversation to continue any farther on this Board.
