None beyond the usual busted knuckles and so forth.
The Trans Am and the Z28 are IDENTICAL, except for some stickers and such. The motor in the TA is already a Chevy one.

thanks for your response, what i am doing is a guy at work has the trans am with no motor but all the wireing is there. the kid down the street blew up the trans in his 85 Z-28 i bought the car for extra parts for my 86 Z-28. the 85 motor is a 305 rebuilt 2 years ago all the cylinders are in the 95 compession range. what about the ecm and prom is guess the trans-am had a 350 will the ecm from the 85 z work? tom

Use the 305 injectors, or if they're not there, get a set of used stock later-model Mustang ones; the 4-hole ones, with the F0TE part number. You can pick those up all day long for $30-40 a set.
