ok guys i got my lt1 in still need to run the wires and mount the ecm, but my question is how much hp will a stock 10 bolt rear hold up 2? i have 3:42 gears. also how much can it take if its built up because im looking to get a le2 head/cam combo and ill prob be pushing about 400-410hp.

im not 2 sure what ill need to replace to be able 2 handle the hp can anyboy make me a list and only put the MUST HAVE items because im on a budget

subframe connectors
probly Lower Control Arms
i already ahve a hotckis strut tower brace

any help would be appreciated

 

Some 10 bolts can handle a few passes on the dragstrip with slicks and 4.10s. Some break on street tires in stock LT1's. If you plan on making serious power, save up for 12 bolt rear.
