how hard is it to swap a 2.8 for a 305

I'm about to do the same thing.... It is in the sticky at the top... Basically everyting that the v6 bolts too is different.

I had one too. I also got the dash harness to go with. for me the hardest thing was figuring out how those v8 mounts actually bolted to the k-mbr, and hooking up teh torque arm to the tranny.
Also get the mallory 4309 afpr, I got mine off of e-bay w/a gauge for $40.

it about the same amount of work to swap, thats what i am doing, a 2.8 with a 5 speed to a 350 with a 5 speed, only thing i need figure out is if i need to swap fuel pumps....
