LT1 vs Gen I exhaust port mismatch?
Hi guys, I'd like to use LT1 exhaust manifolds on Gen 1 style heads. I'm sick of header leaks and am going to use LT1 manifolds if I can. I know the LT1 has a D shaped exhaust port. But, especailly with a manifold, it looks like there should be enough meat that the D port exh. manifold will still seal on the square port head. Has anyone checked this before?
