I recently bought an 89 rs and it came with a {carb}350 instead of factory 305.I was wondering how to eliminate the ESM,its causing timing and fuel probs. 
I know I need vac adv dist. But do I need a new fuel pump or just regulate the line from factory one,also How do i ground the starter relay to bypass it?After I complete changes can I unplug my esm and throw it away?
