originally i was goin to take the 350 engine and trans out of a silverado because my trans went out, but my buddy is goin to rebuild it for $500 not bad at all haha....sounds cheap but hes a close friend and hes good. im goin to take the 350 out and put it in my car. can anyone tell what kind of stuff im goin to run into when doing this?? it should b a direct bolt on...and i want to take the powersteering, ac compressor, and smog pump off....what kind of procedure do i need to take to do this? am i goin to have to buy anything special, change pulleys, or tap into any kind of wiring??

 

The only issues involve what kind of induction your Camaro has. TBI, you'll have some modifications to do which are detailed on the TBI forum. TPI, ditto on the TPI forum.

Basically, the engines are identical externally, so not bolting or wiring issues.
