BBC Questions

I have a few specific questions for a big block swap that aren't in the sticky links. If I use Ed Quay Motor mounts will their BBC headers bolt in without problems? Does anyone make a performance chip for a BBC? what should I expect to pay for a mild 454 say around 400hp/450fpt if I did all the work besides machining? Will stock engine accessories bolt on? Will Stock fuel lines be adequate?

Thx, Jahajazz

Transmission: under rated for this application
Axle/Gears: also under rated
I can try an answer a few....

The Ed Quay mounts lower the engine 1-1 1/2 inches and move it right up to the firewall, so back about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. steering centerlink needs to be flipped around and the front of the oil pan needs to notched for steering clearence, the trans tunnel subframes will need to be removed new frame will need to be fabbed around the headers.
I went with the stock motor location headers, that`s too much

I paid 5,000 for my first BBC, was mild and I did most of the leg work and assembly. it was in the 400 HP range and was good for 11.90`s

stock SBC stuff will not bolt on but they can be used with the proper brackets.

The stock fuel line with enough pressure is good for that size engine.
