88rs v8 to v6 berlinetta

the 88 is wrecked..with a tbi in it and i dont need that motor..i want to go with a high HP carbed V8 and the lovely berly sits there with a junk v6...now..all would be needed is to swap the stuff from the v8 to the v6??? and i dont know what id do about a transmission..ive got a couple old school 4 speeds layin around and want to make the berly in to a badass racer..whats all gotta happen?????

Clutch & bellhousing would be the most difficult. But, having the V8 car for mounts & the like is a good start.

even tho im 17 and all im sure i could handle it...the 350 is comin out of a 79 chevy pickup..rebuilt by a sprint car driver..woo hoo right? lol..any ideas for cheap heads and headers??

cheap heads would be 416 casting SBC heads. Inexpensive and packs more than normal run of the mill heads.

if you want cheap headers... there are thousands... on headers you get what you pay for. I recommend hooker 2055's but a small set that is decent quality is the headman headers.

will the transmission out of the berlinetta work with the sbc??

technically yes (if you have a manual), worth it... no way. automatic nope.

ahh hell...ive got a TH350 that i could use...wanted to use a muncie 4 speed(also have that) but puttin in the pedals and such..is that difficult??
