I was going to put an HSR topped 383 into my 5.7 TPI, auto, 1989 Iroc. Been doing alittle thinking and looking around and I have found a few prospective receiver cars. All cars are 1991. One is a Z28 that was originally equiped with a 305 TPI 5 speed. The other 2 are RS 305 TBI cars one auto,one 5 speed. Can I use the stock computer/harnesses in all of these cars and burn my own chip. These cars use the 730 ecm? Anything I would need/or know about before attempting this. Any good posts that address this specifically? Thanks!

Diffenately get the TPI platform if you choose to go HSR. 7302 will be the computer and you can most definately burn a prom.

TBI has a different one and the harness will have to be heavily modified for the MPFI.
