305TBi to 350TPI
I searched and read everything I could about an LO3 to L98 swap but didnt see one section I have concerns with. I know the fuel pump needs to be changed, but what about the lines? I doubt GM put different fuel lines in each car, doesnt seem to cost effective, but I dont want to take any chances either. Can anyone confirm the lines are in fact different or that the lines I have now will be safe to use?
Edit: One other question, the motor I am buying comes with a dual fan setup vs the single fan I have now. In the car already is a high capacity radiator with less than 1000 miles on it and as long the car is moving, the temp doesnt get above 200 with the 305 (and a 160* thermostat). Do I need to swap the fans because of more cubes or will the better radiator with single fan be sufficient?

The bud I knew here who went TBI to TPI said the chassis fuel lines were the same.
Dual fans make sense, assuming you're getting the entire TPI system out of a donor car. One is run by a switch, the other by the ECM.

I actually got the answer. After calling a local Chevrolet dealer, the part number for fuel lines on each type of motor were identical, so mine will work. Also as a side note, they have been discontinued.
