Eco-tec into a camaro
This post in more food for thought, But has anybody tryed this. They have a rwd eco-tec in the soliice and the repacment super charged is rated at the GM perfomance parts site is rated at 202hp and 200 fpt. even the 145hp 2.2 is looks better (on Paper) then the 140hp V6 that is currently in my car.
At the very least Eco-tec's have been here for a while, starting to show up in junkyards, has the backing of gmprofomince parts and all aluminam like the ls motors. there are a lot of factory V8's I have seen people swap out v6's for that didnt' make 200 hp.

Car: 92 RS(sold) 1989 IROC-Z
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: ones that turn
only problem would be getting trasmission, and stuff bolted onto that thing not including custom driveshaft, and stuff alot of work, but It would be unique for sure

The trans is definatly the biggest problem but it has been done keisler mades the products to atach a five speed to the eco-tec. i found this artical for a kit car mag the goes over the prosses and part required. I am still looking for the products on the companys web page

I just got a email from the company that built the converter saying that the adapter was a one off item and they never produced it. There might be a future in it but not enuf interest stoped them from producing more.
