hey i was wondering what the major parts of converting from carb to tpi would be? i know i would need the whole tpi intake and computer but is the wireing that much diffrent? any other things to consider. i have an 84 trans am and would like to make more power but keep it as street friendly as possible so i figured tpi would be a good solution. i looked around but couldnt find anybody who seemed to feel the same way, i know the tpi setup isnt' perfect but its not a bad setup for factory parts and a whole tpi motor can be had for a couple hundred bucks as oposed to a lt1 or ls1. so what do ya think is the swap rather simple and cheap, or am i better off just staying carbed?
