fuel gauge on enging swap

i have a 92 camaro with a old school 350 in it question is can i use the fuel gauge sending unit in the car with aftermarket gauge and how would i begin to do it?what wire?where is the wire?

Depends upon the gage, I suppose. There are different resistances out there.

Why would you need an aftermarket gage?

because i replaced the whole dash with aftermarket gauges,due tom eliminating the comp

You do know that the computer has absolutely nothing to do with the operation of the factory gauges?
