305 Rebuild Question
I have a 305 im gonna drop into a v6 firebird
With the stock heads and everything else, what is a good camshaft to go with.... I also might change the rockers.. what do u guys recomend.. Not looking for a huge increase in power just something for my daily driver for college. My drag car with 385 is at home.... What do u recomend thanks

Re: 305 Rebuild Question
I wouldn't call that a rebuild, if you're not replacing pistons etc. "rebuilding a 305" is a thread title that makes many people (including me) cringe.
A compxe262 gives a nice boost from stock. The V6 car probably has decent rear gears too, so that cam will work well. Make sure you replace the springs, and check for retainer to guide clearance. I wouldn't worry about rockers just yet.
