350 to 454 swap
iv got a 92 Z28 with the 5.7L im upgrading to a 454 full built ready to go motor. just wanted to know the best trany, drive shaft, and rear end to swap out and replace to hold up to this monster. any help will be great.

You can leave everything stock for now and replace stuff if it ever breaks.
If you do want to upgrade to something stronger, TH400 tranny, A bolt in 9" or 12 bolt differential, a 3" steel driveshaft with 1350 u-joints will be more than strong enough although will also be overkill for a stock engine even if it's a BBC.
Any BBC has lots of potential to make lots of hp and torque but in relatively stock trim, a lot of mild SBC engines can out perform it.
What kind of power levels does this 454 have? You'll also need to install SFC. Headers for a BBC swap are not cheap and the cheaper ones are not exactly a direct fit. A tubular, adjustable torque arm should be installed as well as an aftermarket panhard bar, LCA and LCA relocation brackets.

well its a 454 stroked with forged pistons. cam. 80lbs injectos, headers, decked. the works. said to be pushing about 500+ right now.
