Huh? Are you planning on using the cam out of the 305 or something??? It's not going to work well at all in a 350, and using an old cam with new bearings is not a good idea. Using the old lifters with a new cam is also asking for trouble- choose which ever combo you like, but get all new components. Why rebuild the whole block and use an old cam espacially when the profile was designed for an emissions-compliant 305???

Let's get one thing straight - your 305 has a hydraulic roller lifter camshaft. The truck 350 has a hydraulic flat tappet lifter camshaft.
In other words, they're both hydraulic.
Just get a flat tappet hydraulic cam & lifter set. There's more to getting a block prepped for roller lifters than drilling and tapping - there's machining work as well. Hardly worth it.
And, the cam bearings are identical, anyway.
