Questions Re : Combatablity

If I wanna keep a TBI set up, do I have to by a roller block motor? Or can I by like a gen 1 70's something 305/350 for my car, and bolt on the tbi stuff and just plug everything in?

Yes, the TBI on the top end doesn't care much about the block on the bottom end.

Re: Questions Re : Combatablity

You will want to use a mild cam that the computer will "like"...

For starters, I'd suggest a 1985 or 1986 IROC or Trans Am stock TPI cam profile. It works pretty well with factory TBI computers without upsetting them.
