Re: My four Choices of 350

The 93 Buick is my personal choice. The shortblock 350 will most likely have a roller cam and could even be a factory LT1 (did you check? is it TBI or LT1?) so it's a no brainer.

Especially if you're just doing a quick swap in, this engine is more computer friendly. You are a set of 305 LG4 or TPI heads away from a great street engine!

IIRC the LT1 started in the roadmasters in 94 I could be wrong.

Re: My four Choices of 350

Even it it is TBI, some TPI or LG4 heads, a used LT1/LT4 cam and a little port work will be a great combo. These are all junkyard or available used parts. Having the 350 block machined for the factory roller cam is all you need to make your decision, in my opinion...

Re: My four Choices of 350

Get the one out of the '93, it will be roller (if not roller, it will have the provisions to make it roller) 1 piece rear main seal and have the dipstick on the correct side of the motor.
