Just picked up a 350 what should i do??

i just picked up a 1977 LM1 350 short block from a Impala....It was just rebuilt 700 miles ago and has a LT-1 cam..changed the bottom end to standard bore 9to1 comp standard size on rods and mains...what heads,intake,carb..etc would be good..and the cheapest way...im alll new to building an engine so any info will help...thanks

Well, it all depends on your car really. What have you got? Automatic? Manual? What gears in the rear are you running?

Just based on the engine you mentioned...I'd get yourself a vortech intake and a set of vortech heads along with headers and a good Q-Jet carb and you'll be about 50hp more than you are now and I think that you'd have a pretty good set up you've got for a daily driver.

i have a auto and im buying a 373 posi carrier....how much will my motor have after the set up

Hard to say without running the numbers on the cam and stuff (no capablility here sorry). I'd say 250-300 since it's mostly stock.
