I have an 83 Trans Am with 305 and functional CAI bulge hood. I am buying a TPI 350 setup with everything the first week of June. Now I am wondering if its possible to keep the functionality or the bulge hood for CAI?

I know I cant use the air cleaner lids to mesh with the CAI(obviously), but has anyone fabbed up a system to pull intake air from the Bulge hood CAI into a TPI engine?

I certainly hope its possible cause I really like the bulge hood and since mine is fully functional I'd hate to lose it.

Also, even if I cant use the CAI of the bulge hood, will the tpi still clear with teh CAI assembly left attached to the hood, or will I have to remove it for clearance.

I'm trying to plan this entire swap ahead of time so I can avoid as many surprise's as possible, cause I am a poor boy, and cant afford costly mistakes.
