thats basically it. i have the 305 tbi engine in a camaro 92 rs. ive been told its the LO3 engine. anyways, ive heard they dont respond that well to mods, so making decent power out of this thing would be pretty expensive.

my question is:

other than the lt1 motor itself, what other things do i need to perform the swap? what parts on my 305 tbi will be compatable with the lt1? will the 700r4 be compatable?

Don't forget about the A/c compressor not clearing the subframe.
You can check around and pick up the corvette accessories or notch the frame.

 

i was plannin on gettin rid of my ac compressor right now anyways... i dont use a.c.
i probably never will. the hottest days of this summer i just took the ttops off and was ok. havent had a.c. since i bought the car a couple months ago, so i can live without it

as im kind of a noob, did u mean the stock ac compressor with the lt1? or do i have to get a new compressor thats compatible with the lt1? like i said tho, either way ill get rid of it...
