2 driveshaft quetions:
If i am swapping a 305 0f 91 firebid in to a 92 firebird which had the v6 engine:
1) can i keep the original drie shaft (from V6)
2) on the 91 305 car, sorry this is a stupid question, I can not seem to locate the bolts that connect the driveshaft to the transmission. The diagram in Haynes repair guide shows the bolts to be on the otside of the universal joint, but on my car its just smooth metal no bolts, really confused novice, please help.
thanks.

2) There are no bolts. The drive shaft simply slips into the trans.
