im looking to build an 383 for my 86 iroc with a tpi . can anybody give me some pointers on what i should build it with to make it still work with the tpi setup or what i would have to change on the tpi to make it all work together. im looking to make about 400 hp from it so any one with some info would really help

Ditto the welcome.

TPI will severely restrict a 400 HP 383. Figure on completely replacing all of the hardware, as the base & runners simply aren't up to the task. Super Ram, Steath Ram, or Miniram are about the only way to support it.

so if i change ut te runners and the base will i still be able to use it or should i just go with the new stealth ram stuff

Aftermarket base & runners, and ported plenum will help, but will still fall short.

good to know is there any thing eles i should know? last t ime i did this was on a 82 z28 with a carburator and the car was an original crossfire fuel injection set up and no one would smog it
