A/C compatible?
I just want to know if a 350 will fit in my '83 Z28 along with the a/c compressor. If not, I'll just rebuild the 305 its got in it. I can't handle a daily driver with no a/c in the Texas heat.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
Since the 305 and 350 are externally identical in every way, there's no reason putting a 350 in means your AC won't mount up. There were changes over the years, but if a 305 and 350 were made in any particular year, they looked exactly the same from the outside that year (Vettes excepted).
I still have the '86 AC in mine. It's the same as an '84, except for the flat multi-groove belt on the alternator instead of V-belt, and electric radiator fan instead of engine-driven fan.

Re: A/C compatible?
Oh ok, thanks. I was under the impression that the 350 would be bigger

Only on the inside. Over the years, Chevy made 262, 265, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400 "small blocks", and although there were little differences between them, overall they were exactly the same size externally.
