brake line/motor mount

I bought an 89 RS (former V6) roller and went to put in the V8 mount stands on the frame and the brake line comes over the top of the engine cradle right where it LOOKS like the cradles bolt up. Anyone have a pic of the motor mount location for the V8 and do I need to swap that brake line?

Re: brake line/motor mount

Motor mounts for the V8 goes in the front set of holes. You can move the brake line back for the mounts to work.

That's what I did.

I believe that is covered in the V6 to V8 sticky in the top section of this forum as well.

From #11:

"The right/front brake line mounts to the front of the crossmember for the V6, right where the V8 mounts need to go. Either use the V8 factory line, or carefully bend the line to the rear of the crossmember after the mounts are removed from the V6 position. The p-clamp mount holes are there for the V8 position for this line. Side note: '82-'84 used SAE-type brake fittings, '85-up used metric."
