im new and need help! v6 needs about 200 more hp!!!

I have a beautiful v6 automatic 87 firebird. problem is. I want more horsepower and manual transmission. whats the best engine to drop in. is it possible to convert to the 5speed without much hassle and what else will i need to open up my firebird into a true muscle car please help me!

You need a complete, WRECKED OR SALVAGE, 82 or newer Camaro or Firebird with a V8 and a manual transmission.

If you piece it together over time, it will likely cost you more than if you buy one compleyte car!

First, you need to decide how high tech you are going to go. Real muscle means that you need a wrecked 4th gen with an LS1 and a T56.

Now, if you are on a super budget, then you are looking for a wrecked third gen Z28 or Trans Am with a 5 speed.
