traction bar question
Hi i got a question for all you guys. iv got a 92 Z28 camaro that came with the 350 TPI i did a motor swap and now have a 406 small block with a built 350 tranny. my question is dos any one have any good ideas on how to reattach the stock traction bar from the diff. to the tranny? my 350 tranny is about 6 in. shorter than the stock 700R4 so the bar dos not reach the tranny and the tranny dosen't have any bolting holes for that bar. any suggestions?

Spohn Performance http://www.spohn1.com/?action=product&pid=1128
or
UMI http://www.umiperformance.com/2214?category_id=114
Buy a good crossmember mounted torque arm. Its a bolt in deal and will greatly help traction.
I personally am a fan of UMI

Re: traction bar question
not cheap by any means, but they are the way to go. also b&m and hurst sell conversion kits for this situation, about 100bux, check out jegs or summit. I would still recommend the UMI or Spohn pieces. You will be happy you did. I think UMI has a sale right now in the suspension section 10%off through the new years or something
