335 Stroker
I have a 82 camaro with the stock 305 carb engine and as to my understanding that a stroked and bored(.030 over) will give me a 335 right
now i found a kit on enginekits.com for a 335 stroker and that kit would work in my 305 block

Correct. Using the same stroke as a 400, a 305 bored .030" can be made into a 334.883 (335)
Now price out a 350 replacement engine. Considering you're going to have to strip down the 305 to stroke it, it may be cheaper to just install a 350 and get 15 more cubic inches.
