V6 to V8 Swap

I have an 88 RS that I am almost finished putting a 305 in. I may be able to get a souped up 350 now instead. My question is, what else should I change out to help support the extra power. I have a 700r4 that came with my 305 and the rearend is still stock. All front suspensions is still stock. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to have a car that can really move without spending a ton of money. (I believe we all share that common goal)

This V6 camaro has a very straight body and the doors open and close so smoothly.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

Step one is to install subframe connectors. That will keep your doors opening and closing smoothly.

Poly suspension bushings and engine mounts are always a good idea.

The TH700 will probably need some beefing up. The Transmission and Drivetrain forum discusses that regularly.
