Any big block swaps here?
Please disregard this topic. It no longer applies, I will be going with a small block.

Re: Any big block swaps here?
I did. A search for "big block" did'nt turn up anything special. No offense to you, but Im getting tired of responses like that. I guess I need to start putting I ALREADY DID A SEARCH on all my posts. Thats actually why I did'nt even bother asking any questions because based upon my search I assumed no one here has done it.
Now onto my questions. Lets start with headers, are they available, or do you have to have them custom made? Has anyone kept their BB fuel injected? Can you have the stock PCM recalibrated to run it? Probably others to follow, but lets see what we get out of that.
I guess I should add, if I do this, Im not looking for a drag car just a bad *** street car.

Re: Any big block swaps here?
Did you even read the thread I posted pointing to the sticky about big block swaps?
Try doing a search for BBC instead of big block.
The only real street swap headers are Hooker SuperComp. They're the cheapest and also the worst fitting. You can run BBC cast iron manifolds to solve clearance issues and an easier swap but they have no performance value.
Fuel injection depends on what you want. The factory TBI is good for a factory engine. Most people who put on fuel injection go with an aftermarket EFI system. Depends how much you want to spend.

Did'nt even see it. I guess my eyes thought it was just part of your sig. All I saw was your question about what I was asking.
Nevermind on this subject anyway, I found a small block locally for a decent price, I'll probably just go with it. It'll be easier and info will come easier as well.
