tpi engine build sheets

I have some spare time, money, and garage space on my hands and want to build myself an engine. What I want to find is a tried and true engine combination. I want to stay with a 350 and TPI induction that makes approximetly 375+ horses (if possible)......

What I need help with is i guess some sort of a build sheet. Exactly what combo would work good together...In other words what heads, valves, pushrods, crank, cam...so on and so forth. Is there anywhere I can find this info...a book, website, or can someone post their buildsheet. Thanks.

p.s......in orther words...my dads a retired diesel mechanic..he can help... and I know how to assemble an engine....I just dont know what works with what. Thanks

Re: tpi engine build sheets

I was thinking of asking the same question so i will be interested in peoples replies. I want to built a 350ci motor with TPI intake and would be interested in a list of what parts people have used and what results they have got.

Re: tpi engine build sheets

yeah if you do a search theres a lot of people who have posted their combonaations along with results but none have listed a build sheet. In other words....what piston size they went with, what pushrod length, what valve size....I kinda need it pretty specific...I will even pay for the right info.

Re: tpi engine build sheets

My new engine build made 305rwhp/340rwtq on the dynojet. I run an automatic trans, so figuring 20% loss is 381 flywheel hp. Here is my build.

L98 350 bored .030 (355ci)
Cast crank, stock rods, speedpro forged pistons (flattop)
AFR Street Eliminator 180cc heads (65cc chamber)
9.6:1 static compression ratio (could have gone much higher, but wanted to stay boost friendly for future mods)
Comp Cams XR-276 HR12 camshaft (on the comp camps website do a spec-card search for 08-503-8 for the specs)
Ported/siamesed plenum, ported SLP runners, ported stock base. Plenum, runners, base port-matched
Stock 48mm Throttlebody w/airfoil
30lb/hr injectors
MAC 1 5/8" headers, Mufflex 4" exhaust
Dyno tuning

With a ported aftermarket base and higher compression you could see another 25-40rwhp, taking you well over the 400 flywheel hp mark.
