Hey guy i have an 88 firebird with a 305tbi, and i just bought a 94 z28 with a lt1 and 6-speed, planning on throwing this drive train into my 88, what else would i be able to use from this car? rear axle? front brakes?

 

tear the rear end out, get new gears... 3.73, 4.10s.. whatever you want, do the rear while its out, then swap that into your 88. It fits right in. Use the drive shaft from your Z, that works too. the only thing with ur rear the E brake cables you'll have to modify to get them to work. You can use the springs if you want too.

 

You can use interior also. You can use the rear end IIRC some said it sticks out a couple inches.

 

yea like chevyowner02 said, the seats will go right in place of the original seats, and when i did my rear swap into my iroc i believe when i measured it, it turned out to be about 3-1/2" wider than the stock rearend in your 88'. with the original wheels on it makes the rear tires flush with the rear fender flares... maybe just a hair bigger. But it looks good. unfortunetly i do not have a pic of it on here right now or i would post it to show u.
