350 fuel injec. to carb
I just bought my first v8 car and its an 85 Iroc camaro and was wanting to do a 350 swap in it since it adds more hp and i hear its pretty simple swap. My question is this: My friend said hed sell me his 94 350 for 250 bucks but its fuel injected, so what would I have to do to make the motor carburated and work with my camaro??? do you think it would be easier if i bought an older 350 and just rebuild???

The engine doesnt care whats on top of it, as long as it bolts together. '87 and up will have different bolt hole angles in the intake manifold. You can get a carb manifold for the newer bolt angles no problem.

Re: 350 fuel injec. to carb
I was told you needed to do a lot of machine work to make a fuel injected motor into a carbd somthing to do with having to machine a hole for the manual fuel or oil pump???? I cant remember which... so if thats not true all I need is a carb manifold with bolt angles for the 94 motor and thats all??? no other prep??? or would I have to run a drop in fuel pump into the fuel tank??
