Just recieved a rebuilt 305 block, looking for a little help on what kind of heads and intake manifold for everyday driving and performance.

 

Edelbrock performer TBI intake and mildly home ported stock heads worked pretty good. There are a lot of threads on here discussing different combos, and the best and worst aspects of each. Are you wanting it with a carb? TPI? TBI? Hard to give you many ideas without knowing what your goal is. If it's power i still think the 350 is a better choice, but there's a lot on here that will disagree. The power is there to be made in a 305 still. With some patriot heads, 2101 edel intake, and a 650 holley along with a stiff cam 300 hp should be easily attained.
