Now I know this should be no different than any other TBI->TPI swap, but there is a question or two still.
I've been looking at their complete kit:
And two, how hard is the whole wiring process and running the fuel lines? If the fuel lines that need to be replaced are simply under the hood, that's easy, but if both the feed and return lines need to be completely replaced that's something different. And the same general question about the wiring, if this simply a unplug your current stuff, install the new ECM/push wires through firewall/reconnect? . . or is it more complicated than that, like having to pull the dash in order to access the back side of instrument panel?
Oh, and the reason for the swap is that even with the 2" TBI, Trick Flow heads, full exhaust and a mild cam with the EBL, the f-ing thing can't seem to muster anymore than 265 RWHP and falls on it's face at anything over 3k RPMs.

This is a speed density type system, but the FirstŪ will also work with MAF systems as well.
Remember when doing price comparisons with competitors, make sure to compare apples to apples as we include a lot of accessories with our base manifolds. Some of the others do not include all the items that we do.
It says it comes with a fuel pump, but about 3 years ago I put in a Walbro 190. Will this pump work, or will I need to do the switch? The reason I ask is that I no longer have a garage (apartment), so I'm going to have to pay for a job like this to be done and labor on a fuel pump replacement is freaking nuts.Originally Posted by FIRST Fuel Injection website
