L98TPI w/T56, what computer to use?

I was toying with the idea of putting a 350 TPI setup in front of a WC T5 for my latest project, but I am becoming very leary of the idea. I think I can get my hands on a T56 for a decent price, I have read the related install articles but there are two questions I can't seem to find answers for.
1. What computer ECU and Prom do I use? Can I get the regular L98 ECU and Prom flashed to eliminate VATS and work in front of a T56?

2. How do I make the speedo signal work, I have a 91, so I already have an electric speedo, but I am told it will not be a direct connection between the T56 and my speedo because the T56 is a 17? pulse per rev. I guess the question is a bit more complicated as I will also be changing my rear gears, and what to make sure my fix accommodates both issues at once.

OK, 3 questions....

I will be switching from a TBI setup backed by a 700R4, so my harness is pretty much useless. Is there someone that makes a plug and play harness for an application like this, or am I best sourcing a TPI/5speed harness and just getting the ECM and Prom taken care of by a company that specializes in that? (I have a big enough project for myself.....I am not doing ANY DIY computer stuff)
