question for Aiperon I am setting a carburated 350 engine in my 91 which had a700r4 and still does , 2 problems chap helping me cut wires from computer trying to eliminate ecm accidentally cut my speed sensor and lock up torque what can i do most all other wiring acc ie starter alt fan are ok as traced there are more than 1 purple wire etc. Can I totally remove the computer and wire everything like my second gen 77 Camero

You need to fix the wiring for your speedometer and provide some other means of controlling the TCC without the ECM.

I found a yellow and a purple wire in the cut off pieces that plugs into the speed sensor with proper plug but there is several yellow and 2 other purple wires now on the ecm side I also found the tcc wires purple,lt blue and tan with a black tracer talked to a trannie rebuilder and he said I could lock the torque up with a toggle switch but had to operate it manually and pay careful attention as for the speedo said I might have to leave ecm in car and trace ahook up the appropriate wires Don't know if this info helps you any as to colors etc thanks for your reply
