fuel pump question

fuel pump question
can i use the whole tank and pump setup from a 94 v6 camaro in my 86 camaro to feed the lt1 i put in it? if anyone has a better suggestion for that would be cool too-im lookin for as cheap as i can

You can use a TPI pump or a Walbro 255 lp,but I read where walbro sold out. And it seems now that alot of people are haveing trouble with them.

i was lookin at http://www.showmetheparts.com/airtex/# and the replacements show that the tpi pumps have a lower psi shut off range than the stock lt1 and pumps less gallons per hour.... so i guess this is still the question of what should i do- im jus throwin the facts out there cause they don't match up however i understand that doesnt mean they wont work. plus i think for me to get my hands on a tp1 pump will cost me almost as much as i can get a 94 v6 fuel tank and sending unit for
