Ed Quay Big Block Headers
Ed Quay Big Block Headers
Has anyone used these? How is the fit and clearance? What did you pay? They seem to be the only reasonable priced large diameter BB headers out there for our cars. Thanks

Re: Ed Quay Big Block Headers
Mine are 2-1/4" primaries. It was a tight fit but I got them in. A couple of the right hand tubes are dented to clear suspension components and the starter. The flanges are cut so each tube is installed separately then the slip on collector is installed. On the driver's side, I relocated the steering shaft up and outward slightly to clear the tubes.
I got a good deal on mine. The primaries were coated and I think I paid $500 for the pair. To buy them new, expect to pay around $1000. Large tube headers are not cheap.
