check list

hey all ok so i have a sport coupe 88 camaro. 2.8 L 700r4 3.42s. wuts going in is a 350 t-5. i know i have to get a new harness(old one is gone), exhuast, front springs, raditor. but am i missing anything? anything at all? at this point im trying to just get it on the road, storage is getting pricey and annoying. but later down the road i would like to see 400+ horses at the wheels, but thats not important right now, it running is. kinda budget minded, but do NOT want to scimp on parts. thanks anyone and everyone for the help.

Re: check list

nvm i saw the sticky after i posted, sorry. actually there is something, i noticed in the sticky to replace the sway bar, what size is the v6 one and what size do i need. it seems to be impossable for me to find a donor v8 car so its the hard way.

Re: check list

The v6 bar won't be dangerous or even any problem at all, for getting it up and running. I'm too new to this forum to post in the classifieds yet, but aside from my junk, I'm sure others have cheap V8 parts for sale. A bigger issue is V8 front springs. They are 10 times harder to change when there's an engine in the car. Not changing them is likewise not dangerous, but your nose will sit lower. It'll sit lower every morning for about the first week after you get the V8 in, and be done steeling after 2 weeks of driving it. You should lose about an inch of ground clearance under the crossmember, if I remember right.
To swap from 700R-4 to T5 you'll need the pedals, and the clutch master cylinder, neither of which would be attached to whatever T5 you have.
