Re: 350 Swap problems
You can pick up a 290 hp 350 that is pre 86 pretty cheap. But everyone tells me that I cant run my tpi on it. I already know to change the heads with those of 72 degrees for the center bolts, but what else will prevent it from running? Everyone I talk with wants to sell me $3,000.00 worth of engine when I dont think I need it. I'm not going to race it, just want to pull nicely up to 5000 rpm when I need to. I also know about the flex plate and balancer.
