Early and late 350 engines.

Other than heads and intake are earlier engines the same as later ones,i am only interested in knowing if the blocks are same around engine mounts to see if a ,89 350 tpi from a Trans Am engine will bolt into '85 and earlier cars or are engine mounts different,if they are will the earlier mounts bolt straight on to later engines.
Thanks Jimmy.
