92 v6 firebird to 88 TPI swap ?
The Bird in my sig was totaled by a drunk driver about a week and a half ago, so I got a 92 v6 bird w/ a manual transmission and I intend to put my motor in it. (I'm dumping the manual in favor of transfering my automatic)
I've pulled the bulkhead (the one that's held in by a 9/32" bolt) connector down by the brake booster off (on the donor 88) and found it's actually two parts, one is the main engine harness and the other is headlights / wiper motor. I'm wondering if things might actually end up being as simple as plugging the V8 engine harness half in place of the one on the v6? Or are the pinouts different even if the connector looks the same?
I only have 88 wiring diagrams from alldatadiy at the moment, no 92 diagrams. Perhaps someone might have a diagram of what pin is what on this connector from 92 (I think it's C100)? Thanks!

this is not bird oriented, but how far apart can it be. Not to mention, remember now you have air bags. So there are differences. Yes, you should be able to very simply re-pin (pull pins out, move around and stick the pin back in the plug) and so you can make it plug and play, although it would be semi-difficult. Here is a website that might be able to help you out.
