is this a good deal?

I found a 400sbc engine for $800 cash its got the corvette double hump heads, weiland high ram intake with dual carbs on it.. he saids its been changed over to full roller set up.. i'm not sure what type of cam is in it.. i would like to convert it to either the modified lt1 intake or stealth ram since my car is a tpi car.. not sure how hard it will be to do on this engine but any input would be nice.. and let me know if ya think its worth it or not

The ram intake and dual carbs are pretty much worthless on a street car.

I'd want more details, like cam specs, what he did with the engine, why he's selling it.

I would forget about the corvette stuff, its just a way to get more money out of you. Do the heads have accesory holes in them?
If you cant get the intake off before paying, assume its not a roller. You should take that intake and carbs setup off anyway, as its not good for much on the street. Then you can verify cam. The lifters(ifthey are roller) would be good but I imagine any cam in a 400 with a tunnel ram wouldnt be much good with FI.
