I own a 1992 firebird with a 3.1 v6 stock engine. i am considering to upgrade it to the 5.7 350 chevy engine that was available to the trans am and formula models of my year. If anyone can help me out with what will need to be modified. (suspension/mounts/etc) I am not the most knowledgable of this sorta thing. But i am definatly willing to learn. I am new to it all. But i am a die hard muscle car fan. Please assist me if you can. And leave a detail if and why i should put a 305 5.0 engine or a 350 5.7.

Where in Colorado? Metro area?

Why a 305? More of them available.

Why a 350? More power, Doesn't make much of a difference in fuel economy vs. a 305.
