switching wire harness on swap
I am installing the Holley commander 950 with the wiring harness it comes with on an HSR that will set on a 383 stroker. The 305 tpi is out and I have the wiring harness disconnected from everything inside the engine bay and under the dash. I just have a few questions for today, The two connections to the ECM are obvious but what is the small square black plastic to gray plastic connection I unhooked the harness from under the dash? and what is the rectangle connection that is white/clear plastic to black plastic that I unhooked? And finally is there anyway to get all those fittings to pull through to the engine bay or do I just have to cut the wires? I can not
seem to free the harness to pull it through the black plastic box where it enters under the carpet on the passenger side. Any trick to keeping the harness in tact? I am just about to cut it out of there but it seems like a waste to do that when it is only about two feet that I can not see. I figured someone on here knew how to get to it to get it out. My car is an 87 iroc z28, T5 (although the t5 is laying on the garage floor next to the tko 600 I plan on putting in).

Re: switching wire harness on swap
Anyone on how to get this off without cutting where it goes down behind the wheel and comes out under the dash?
