Engine Hoist Question
I'm looking to pull the engine out of my 91 RS. My friend has an engine hoist, but the piston was covered in rust. Is this thing toast? He sprayed it with WD-40 and closed it and all the rust "came off" (I haven't seen it yet, this is what he said). Sorry for the newbish question.

Typically not. The pressure comes from the bottom of the cylinder, not the top where the shaft comes out.
