Engine: 5.7L 350cid
Transmission: auto
Axle/Gears: i think 3.42
305 tpi to 350 carb HELP
what is involved in doing this i took out the 305 and im looking to buy a 350 and i wan an old look all mechanical so what do i do about the fuel pump and stuff i need help from some one who did this thanks i need step by step help as well

Pretty much documented in the EFI to carb swap tech article. Except the changing of the actual engine.

From the thirdgen.org homepage, on the left margin is a "tech articles" link. Click on that, look for the article on the conversion.

so pritty much get a afpr and a carborated 350 and thats it ? i dont have to worry about anything els ?

Nope.
Except adapter fittings.
And different fuel lines.
Different length throttle cables.
Different distributor.
Different thermostat housing.
Different upper radiator hose.
Different TV cable geometry.
Different air cleaner.
Needing some means to lock up the torque converter clutch.
Being completely illegal for use on public streets, roads, highways, and byways by Federal emissions requirements.
Other than that, all you need is a return-type fuel pressure regulator.
Except adapter fittings.
And different fuel lines.
