3.8 into 3rd gen firebird
hi guys,i have a 3.1 firbird at the mo but have been given a 3.8 out of 1998 camaro.
would it be straight swop?
also the engine ive been given blew the oil filter off,ive been told its just an oil pressure valve and can be easily done,is this correct and would it cause any other damage

It is far from straight forward. It is one of the least supported swaps possible (among GM engines, anyway).

I have some threads around here somewhere of doing this swap....... somewhere....
Is teh upper intake manifold straight of sloped? if straight is will not clear the hood. also need teh psm & associated wiring, .......
